You are fortunate enough to have spoken to the experts, as a self-proclaimed social media guru (sweet!), I would say that your blog is only as interesting as you are. Following your passion is the only way to maintain the fire it takes to write regularly. By making the change you are staying true to yourself and following your path. Sometimes when you come to a wall that is blocking your path, you have to walk all the way around the world to get to the other side of that wall. Good luck on your journey ;-)

Best of luck Steven. Sounds exciting. Little tip (not that you haven't thought of it?) .... Buy all the mis-spells and variations of the new URL and 301 them .... before someone 'squats' them and makes money from YOUR hard work. Looking forward to the next chapter!
