Shooting at Bubbles: Encourage Piracy By Making Legal Music Too Hard to Listen To & Killing The Providers

Thank you for quoting me, and thank you for your post. You are absolutely correct in what you say. The headline nails it right away. If these stations die or, are choked by fees then piracy will sky rocket. These companies are making it legal to discover and listen to music of all kinds. Yet, it seems they're being punished for it. I've been saying for awhile that new laws need to be in effect for internet distributed media. The Washington Post article explaining what Pandora pays in fees is a perfect example of why.

even though Pandora may be geotarded and I can't use the service I don't
blame them for the situation since I was a user from day one they announced
the service. I just wish this - like other important matters (unlike whether
Twitter is federated or not or some such stupid things) was getting more of
a push across all the different blogospheres since this kind of activities
by people like RIAA and SoundExchange are just the tip of the iceburg of a
political system listening to big bucks instead of the people who elected
    them.

    Hello,

I discover your blog with a research on the radio.
I use it to announce you the arrival of the new website of RCM (Small French local radio).
I also offer you to listen to us ( www.rcmlaradio.fr a 'good morning' on Tchat will please us).

Excuse me for bad English, it is not my native language (if you speak three languages you are trilingual, if you speak two languages you are bilingual and if you speak a single language you are French ;-)

Thank you for this small message on your blog.
